Educating Children Outdoors (ECO)

It is not how well we test children, but how well we teach them.  I am not sure where I heard this or who said it but it really resonates with me as I experience ECO classes with Kindergarten, 1st and 6th grade.  Collaborating with colleagues to provide students with the experience of learning outdoors is a wonderful challenge.  We are all learning together to deepen our understanding of the natural world through the lens of self, others and community.
